Types of Nouns

Let's discuss today about the nouns and its types.

Nouns- A noun is a word that is used in place of a person, place, animal or thing. Nouns are of various types that are discussed below:-

1- Common Nouns - These are words that are used to denote a class of objects like boy,girl,ball,bat,baby,book,car etc.

2- Proper Nouns- These are words that are used to denote specific individuals like Ram,Mohan,Rinki,Pinky,New York etc.

3- Collective Nouns- These are names of collections. Examples are bunch,pile,swarm,crowd etc.

These were the most common types of nouns with examples.
